De Anza will assess most students on the basis of their U.S. high school transcripts and GPA, so they can be placed in the right Language Arts and Math courses for their level of knowledge. In some cases, the college may use other assessment methods.
De Anza has more than 30 Workforce Education programs, including Automotive Tech, Computer Security and Nursing. Programs are designed with help from industry experts. Most include hands-on training or internships.
Our student athletes have a high transfer rate to four-year schools. Learning communities are a great way to connect with a network of supportive classmates, teachers and advisers.
